There ‘s always something feminine about a lovely dress. Dresses make us feel pretty, sexy and sometimes even smart. I’d like to share a few dressed obsessed looks that I dreamed up.

Yes summer is coming to and end, what better way to enjoy our last hurray, than a colorful maxi dress. The maxi dress is a great transition to early fall. We can get a few more wears from our cute comfy summer sandals. This look reminds me of a field of daisy. Serene but playful. Add some silver accessories to punch up the style and a designer wicker tote . The great thing about shopping this late in the season you’ll pay only a fraction of the original price. A red, blue and green Maxi is timeless. You’ll have something to bring in next spring again with minimal investment.

I have been struggling with a back injury for several months. After enduring months of pain and mental anguish. It dawned on me, that the answer is to strengthened the core muscle to help stabilize the injured area. My abdominal area has grown weak. I found this great abdominal work out on youtube. How do we distinguish the boundaries between lovers and friends?
Directly we express that neither party is ready for a relationsip. Yet ,everything you seem to do with and for another are relationship related. We try to keep a distance, but as one pulls away, the other pulls you back. Feelings are intertwined and later led to confliction. “Boundaries” and “limits” of a friendship are once again crossed. Then it goes back to what the mutual agreement was: to just be friends, not do things on a relationship level, not to catch feelings, not to get clingy. But back to reality: you see one another way too often. Meet one another’s closest friends and family. Tell past experiences, and simply too much of you to the other. Become unintentionally clingy, have sex and now feelings are involved.
By this time our heart speaks louder than our brain. Telling us its ok to love this person. So how are we so sure that the other person has that mutual feeling of love? We don’t know and as a result another heart is broken.

The solution: Give it space, time and some distance. Falling in love alone is not a fun feeling. Spare your feelings as well as the other person’s.
Don’t have ANY expectations. Expectations only lead to disappointment. Would you rather be cautious of your heart or allow yourself to fall into something that just ISN’T what it seems?

Because I’m hurting. The kind of hurt that won’t let me distinguish the difference between a friendship and a relationship. I’m falling. Her actions seems as if she is. Her (not often spoken) words tell me another. So is this just her being friendly? A friend? Is this a friendship? Because my heart is being put on the line. They say you can’t help how you feel. Well unfortunately I might be feeling by my lonesome.
So now what? I’ve given time, energy, patience, space, love and effort. Yet I’m caught between what I would like to be a relationship and what is clearly a friendship with benefits. Feelings, bonds and what we’ve built are now on the line because I can’t distinguish the difference between friends and lovers.

Ladies, here are a couple things you can do to better your relationship with your man by keeping it FUN & EXCITING.
(these are in no chronological order.)

1. Communication is always key, but who said it only has to be done through conversation? Become accustom to leaving little notes around for him to let him know he’s wanted, missed & loved. For example, make him a meal for work and leave a little surprise in his bag, or leave a little note on the bathroom mirror while he’s getting ready for work. Always remember, It’s the little things that matter.

2. Buy him season tickets for the sporting event he loves. Put on your jersey and go with him. Taking interest to HIS interests, shows your man that you’re taking initiative in the relationship. He’ll love going with you.

3. Take a picture of your favorite pair of high heels and a pearl or beaded necklace and place it in his brief case. Write a note asking him if he likes the outfit you plan on wearing later tonight. Arrange for the kids to be gone for a few hours and then greet him at the door in your shoes and necklace. Make sure you are loaded down with gloves, necklaces, garters and the sort – he will eagerly anticipate you taking off every piece of clothing.

4. Ask for his help even when you know you can do it yourself. Make a point to tell him he is your big, strong man, and you are so glad you have him to help you. No mans wants a woman that is too independent; he wants to feel needed. Show him he’s needed.

5. What man doesn’t want his name ENGRAVED or EMBEDDED on your brain? Make it be known that you are his & he is yours. Be creative, either… buy an “I HEART ____” shirt with your man’s name on it & wear it to bed or place a temporary tattoo somewhere obscure on your body, and then have him find it…

Again, these go in no chronological order. Just a few things every woman can do to better her relationship. It is true what they say, “What you won’t do, someone else will,” therefore, it is up to you to take the initiative to make your relationship FUN & EXCITING.

3.) Spontaneous Aknowledgement: Doesn’t have to be a special occasion, to give a gift or to go the extra mile to show someone you value him or her. It can be something simple like, sending her roses at the office, just because. Also buying him ticket’s to their favorite sporting event.
4.) Creative Dates: Be creative in planning out dates. Keep your partner on their toes; try not to ever do the same date more than twice. Try to do different activities’ with your partner, such as join a dancing class, or maybe a outdoor group that go on hikes, and other outdoorsy types of things.
5.) My-Space. Now, I know you care about your partner. You want to be in there presence all the time, but everyone needs his or her space. So its good to allow your partner to have their “me” time. “He dates a lot of women, and get’s praised for it, I date a lot of guys, and I’m frowned upon, and highly regarded as a slut”. Appears to be the mindset of the majority of the women in the world we live in. Which may be the most prevalent gripe in the cosmic struggle between Men vs. Women, well the most prevalent gripe women have anyway. Men see, this argument in a totally different light. I mean, yes we acknowledge the fact the there is a double standard present, but as Men we feel the double standard is needed. Not in a sense we want our cake and to eat it too, but as men we all want our own “virgin”, or at least something close to it. The Double Standard keeps this in check, somewhat of a checks and balances system. As, men we want something that every other man, wants but hasn’t been fortunate enough to obtain. It may have to do with our male “penis ego” (aka Male Ego). Male ego or pride can be a gift and a curse, the same confidence we display that women are attracted to; can be the demise of a attraction as well. That same pride can blind us men from seeing good women.
To focus more on the other side of the “Double Standard” t argument, it all doesn’t rest on the shoulders of Men. Women play an intricate role in this struggle as well. From a Male prospective, Women our learning the power they hold over Men and our abusing it. Coming up with what I call their “ pussy prevails” movement. I don’t know if it’s a backlash reaction to Women feeling used by Men over the years, but Women are now exploiting these Men. This scenario makes you really think who wears the so called “ Pants” in these relationships, even in the bible the tales of men exploiting their power over men. In tales of Sampson and Delilah, and the tale of Eve chorusing Adam into taken the apple. Either way whoever holds the power, both Men and Women seem to be to totally different creatures, not only physically, but also mentally. Men are from Mars and Women truly are from Venus, so close in the solar system but mentally are galaxies apart the double standard is a result of this.
